Fluffer-Oreo Cupcakes from Picky Palate

Oreo cupcakes are one of the most popular cupcake recipes I come across. Picky Palate recently posted her version of Oreo cupcakes called Fluffer-Oreo Birthday Boy Cupcakes. I like her recipe because all it involves is a yellow cake mix, cream cheese, vanilla pudding, marshmallow cream, and of course Oreos. The trick is to layer the batter, Oreos, and marshmallow cream. Oreo Cupcakes Revisited

This is certainly not the first time I've posted a recipe for Oreo cupcakes (see below),

and it will most likely not be the last. There must be something about Oreos in cupcakes that people love because Beantown Baker's most requested cupcake is this Oreo Cupcake. I think the reason this recipe is so appealing to me is because of the whole Oreo on the bottom of the cupcake. It's like the cupcake has it's own crust. Yum! You can find the recipe here.

I love mixing my favorite desserts with cupcakes. Thank to Java Cupcake, I now have a recipe for Cookies-N-Creme Cupcakes. The only item the recipe omits is a glass of milk...how can you eat Oreos without milk?

My favorite part of these mini cheesecakes are the whole Oreos at the bottom of each one. I love Oreos, but I don't eat them nearly as much as I used to. In the good old days, I could eat 1/3 box, now I feel guilty eating just one. Oh, the joys of getting older and a slower metabolism.

Oreo Cupcake Genius

Milk is my choice of beverage to accompany cupcake indulgences. I came across a blog that incorporates milk drinking with the cupcake. Presenting: Cupcake Project's Oreo Cupcake!


What is this goodness pictured above? Well, it is an Oreo cookie cupcake with Oreo cream cheese frosting and topped with mini Oreos. Still wondering what's in the middle? Here's the answer: chocolate liqueur cup filled with milk!

You get to take the mini Oreos that are on top of the frosting and dunk them in the milk that is contained in the middle of the cupcake!


What could top this goodness? I love it! It reminds me of bread bowl soup where you finish off by eating the bread bowl that your soup is served in.
