Tonight's Episode of Cupcake Wars: Grammys

Four past Cupcake Wars veterans return to the battlefield for another shot at victory and a chance to serve the music industry's biggest stars.



Milk (Los Angeles, CA) - I still can't believe that I haven't been to Milk yet. The next time I'm in LA, I HAVE to go. They did pretty well the first time they were on Cupcake Wars, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them go all the way.

The Perfect Circle Cupcakery (Orange, CA) - My local cupcakery is back on Cupcake Wars. Of course I would love for them to do well because they make some delicious cupcakes.

Crushcakes Cupcakery (Santa Barbara, CA) - I visited and reviewed Crushcakes last year. I loved their Buttermilk Crumb cupcake.

Smallcakes (Overland Park, KS) - I have an excuse for not tasting Smallcakes yet...they're in Kansas. I don't know if I'll ever get to Kansas, but if they do well on Cupcake Wars tonight, I will have to stop by.

Oreo Cupcake Genius

Milk is my choice of beverage to accompany cupcake indulgences. I came across a blog that incorporates milk drinking with the cupcake. Presenting: Cupcake Project's Oreo Cupcake!


What is this goodness pictured above? Well, it is an Oreo cookie cupcake with Oreo cream cheese frosting and topped with mini Oreos. Still wondering what's in the middle? Here's the answer: chocolate liqueur cup filled with milk!

You get to take the mini Oreos that are on top of the frosting and dunk them in the milk that is contained in the middle of the cupcake!


What could top this goodness? I love it! It reminds me of bread bowl soup where you finish off by eating the bread bowl that your soup is served in.
