Apple Cobbler Cupcakes with Pumpkin Pie Frosting

I'm collecting delicious-looking recipes, so I can decide what I want to make for Thanksgiving. I am always in charge of dessert and I try to make new treats every year. One of my favorite ingredients to use is pumpkin, so I'm sure my top favorites will have pumpkin in them.

This recipe from Cupcake Project is for Apple Cobbler Cupcakes with Pumpkin Pie Frosting. Yum! Haven't tasted those yet. The most interesting part is that the Pumpkin Pie Frosting is actually just pumpkin pie that's piped on top on the cupcakes. Found this pumpkin pie cupcake via Cupcakes Take the Cake. This cupcake from Bake It in a Cake is no ordinary pumpkin pie cupcake, it's a mini pumpkin pie baked into a vanilla cupcake and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Don't need to waste time eating two desserts, just eat this one!
