On the 11th Day before Christmas, I went to MRS. BEASLEY'S

This is the second time I have been to Mrs. Beasley's at South Coast Plaza. The one thing I like about their store is that they have a variety of flavors. Oh!...and I also like that they sell "poppers" (mini cupcakes).

I tried the Chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting (it's my new love since being introduced to it at SweetSpot) in the popper size. The cake was good, but the cream cheese frosting wasn't up to par. It wasn't cream cheesy enough. I had a similar experience the first time I visited Mrs. Beasley's. Their butter cream frosting is a whipped, light frosting...not my favorite kind. But if you are craving cupcakes while shopping at South Coast Plaza, this is a good place to stop for a mini cupcake.

Mrs. Beasley's is located at South Coast Plaza and has the same hours as the mall. Their normal size cupcakes sell for $3.00 and their poppers are $1.25.

Hi,

My name's Debbie and I work for the Costa Mesa Visitor Bureau. I was wondering if you'd be okay with us using your blog on Mrs. Beasley's on the blog on our website, www.travelcostamesa.com. We will give you full-credit and can link back to your site as well.

Please let me know. Thanks!
Debbie

wow they put a lot of frosting on their cupcakes! it looks like a 50/50 ratio. Did you try one of their normal sized ones?

I didn't get a chance to try one of the normal size cupcakes. I'm pretty sure I was on a sugar high by the time I got there. Next time.
