Pistachio Hot Fudge Cupcakes from How Sweet It Is

I love trying new cupcakes flavors and I can honestly say that I have never eaten a pistachio hot fudge cupcake.

The recipe from How Sweet It Is has brownie bottoms, pistachio gelato, cream cheese frosting, topped with chocolate, crushed pistachios, sprinkles, and a chocolate-dipped cherry. You can make these cupcakes from scratch with the recipe from How Sweet It Is or you can fake it with a brownie mix and store bought frosting. Either way, these cupcakes sounds like winner!

Banana Boat Cupcakes from How Sweet It Is

Do I even need to mention how heavenly these cupcakes look?! How Sweet It Is created a recipe after a favorite childhood snack: banana boats. I've never made them before, but they sound awesome!

"A slice of bread smeared with peanut butter, a banana placed on top, the side of the bread folded up like a sandwich, and the entire thing skewered together with salty pretzel sticks."

The cupcake version sounds just as delicious: Pretzel Bottomed Banana Bread Cupcakes with Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting. I'll try anything with peanut butter. You can find the recipe here.

What's at the Bottom of Your Cupcake?

How often do you find a chocolate chip cookie at the bottom of your cupcake? I'm guessing not that often.

How Sweet It Is posted a recipe for Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bottomed Cupcakes. These cupcakes have a cookie layer, a cake layer, a frosting layer, and are topped with a cookie. Sounds delicious to me! You can find the recipe here.

Mac & Cheese Cupcakes

When I saw the headline "Baked Mac & Cheese Cupcakes", I got super excited. I'm a huge Mac & Cheese fan. I'm pretty sure it would be my last meal. (By the way, my favorite Mac & Cheese in Orange County is at Stonefire Grill and Haven Gastropub.) Although these "cupcakes" aren't quite the mac & cheese I had hoped for, they are still a great idea for making dinner a little different.

How Sweet It Is posted photos and a recipe for these savory cupcakes made with whole wheat pasta, various vegetables, and three types of cheese, and some bread crumbs. That's my kind of dinner.
