Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly

My favorite thing to do when I travel is try new cupcake shops. I go to Orlando several times a year, but I'm so busy during the day that I don't usually have time to visit any cupcake shops. Luckily, on this past trip, someone brought the cupcake TO me.

I saw Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Molly on Cupcake Wars several years ago. Of course I always love trying "famous" cupcake shops. Yes, this cupcakes were delivered to me, but unfortunately the cupcake deliverer made a few quick turns in the car and the cupcakes spilled all over the place.

Of course that doesn't matter to me because cupcakes still taste good no matter how they look, but for photo purposes, it kinda sucks.

Since there were three dozen mini cupcakes, I shared them with my co-workers. I was able to try about 10 of them and they were DELICIOUS. Smooth, creamy frosting, unique & fun flavors, moist cake...what more could a cupcake activist ask for?

I want to personally visit Sweet! so I can do an official review. I'm headed to Orlando again at the end of February and I'm hoping to slip in a quick trip to this cupcake shop.

Review: Simply Delicious Cafe & Bakery

On my recent trip to Walt Disney World, a friend brought me cupcakes while I was working. So sweet! These cupcakes are from Simply Delicious Cafe & Bakery in Cocoa Bakery, FL. Never heard of them, but I'm not an expert on East Coast cupcakes (yet).

I received three flavors of cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate, and coconut), along with a frosting-topped croissant. These cupcakes almost looked too pretty to eat. That never stops me though.

The frosting on these cupcakes were outstanding, definitely my favorite part. It was thick and buttery, but not too sweet. Usually I am turned off my plain vanilla cupcakes, but this one was different. The coconut cupcake was my favorite though. Nice subtle flavor on a moist cupcake.

The one surprise was the frosting-topped croissant. Two great things put together...what could be wrong? I think croissants just aren't meant to have frosting. And that's ok. Gotta try or else how else would the world find out other great pairs such as chocolate & peanut butter and maple & bacon.
